Introduced in 2014, the CCS Bard Arts Council is a membership-only group created to give our supporters exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the art, artists, curators, patrons, and institutions that shape the international contemporary art landscape today.
For an annual membership of $2,500, members will have the opportunity to attend exclusive events in and around New York City, from patron-hosted viewings of private collections, to special members-only exhibition previews, and private Q&A events with leading collectors, artists, and curators.
Past events have included: Special tours of all CCS Bard exhibitions and receptions; private collection tours with members of the CCS Bard Board of Governors; private tours of exhibitions at the Whitney, New Museum, Swiss Institute, and Americas Society, among others; studio visits with Leilah Babiyre, Sadie Benning, Urs Fischer, Neil Jenney, Julien Nguyen, Tony Oursler and Christopher Wool; special invitations to events at the Park Avenue Armory, Frieze Art Fair, and Governors Island.
The CCS Bard Arts Council and affiliated events are led by CCS Bard Graduate Program Director and Chief Curator Lauren Cornell and CCS Bard Arts Council chair and Bard alum Dan Desmond.
