Chen Tamir is Curator at the Center for Contemporary Art in Tel-Aviv
where she’s worked on exhibitions with Ragnar Kjartansson, Agnieszka
Kurant, Trevor Paglen, Wilfredo Prieto, Jon Rafman, Amie Siegel, and
Christopher Kulendran Thomas. Tamir also serves as
Curatorial Associate at Artis, where she spearheads programming,
including the large video survey “Staring Back at the Sun,” which
premiered at the New Museum in New York in 2015 and has been traveling
internationally since. Her writing has been published by C Magazine, The
Exhibitionist, the Vera List Center for Art and Politics, the Center
for Curatorial Studies at Bard College, Hyperallergic, FlashArt, and
many others. She was recently listed by artnet as one of 25 women
curators on the rise.
