Myriam Ben Salah is a Tunisian-French curator. Since 2020, she is the Director and Chief Curator of the Renaissance Society in Chicago, where she has organized solo exhibitions with artists including Alex Ayed, Neïl Beloufa, Meriem Bennani, Aria Dean, Dala Nasser, Diane Severin Nguyen, Lydia Ourahmane, Jordan Strafer, Wakaliga Uganda, and Diego Marcon. In 2026 she was the curator of Yto Barrada’s French Pavilion at the 61st Biennale di Venezia. In 2020, she co-curated the biennial exhibition Made in L.A. at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles. Previously, Ben Salah was Editor-in-Chief of Kaleidoscope Magazine (2016–2020) and Curator of Special Projects and Public Programs at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris (2009–2016). In 2018, she was Guest Curator of the 10th edition of the Abraaj Group Art Prize in Dubai where she collaborated with artist Lawrence Abu Hamdan on a large-scale commission. She lectured at ArtCenter Pasadena and Yale School of Art and she sits on MUDAM Luxembourg Scientific Committee.
