Collection Summary
Founded in 2001, LTTR is a feminist, genderqueer collective known for producing a range of artistic works with a ‘flexible, project-oriented practice’. The collective includes Ulrike Müller, Every Ocean Hughes, Ginger Brooks Takahashi, and K8 Hardy. From 2002-2006, the group published an annual art journal titled LTTR which sought to highlight the work of radical communities whose goals included ‘sustainable change, queer pleasure, and critical feminist productivity’. Each of the five issues were produced in an edition of 1000, with submissions guiding the editorial voice, content, format and design. The LTTR Archives document not only the production of the journal but other projects and exhibitions produced in collaboration with LTTR from their founding in 2001 to the 2015 retrospective held at Tensta Konsthall in Stockholm.
